Phase One Construction in Southwick
We’re excited to be moving forward with the first phase of Whip City Fiber in Southwick! The project is currently making progress as other utilities complete the necessary “make-ready” work on existing poles. Once that work is finished, our team will begin network construction, installing fiber-optic in three areas of town. We anticipate this construction beginning in Fall 2027, with service ready for homes in early 2028.
Phase I Areas Include:
- Birchwood Road, Feeding Hills Road, Fernwood Road, Gargon Terrace, Hudson Drive, Pineywood Road, Powder Mill Road, and Whalley Way.
- Bonnie View Road, Cedar Street, College Highway, Crescent Circle, Feeding Hills Road, Juniper Road, Renny Avenue, Ridge Street, Sefton Drive, Shirley Terrace, Southwick Hill
- College Highway, Depot Street, Evergreen Terrace, Granville Road, Maple Street, Sheep Pasture Road
